  1. The Cooperative Bank of Kenya and the Government of the Republic of South Sudan conclude a Joint Venture Agreement.

On 14th August 2012, the Managing Director of Cooperative Bank of Kenya, Dr. Gideon Muriuki and the Undersecretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Cooperatives and Rural Development of the Republic of South Sudan, Professor Matthew Gordon Udu, signed a Joint Venture Agreement between the Bank and the Government of the Republic of South Sudan to establish the Cooperative Bank of South Sudan. 0n 2nd August 2012, the Government of South Sudan launched its public service Performance Management System under the theme “Performance Management System for the delivery of the Vision 2040: Towards Freedom, Equality, Justice, Peace and Prosperity for all through an efficient and effective Public Service”.
